My Car Accident On March 31st, 2004, I was living at my Great Grandmothers. I was driving back to her house from dropping off my brother Andy at the bus stop for school at 730 in the morning, when I was hit by a truck that was doing around 40-50 MPH on a dirt road. It is all dirt roads up there. The guy ran the stop sign, hit me in the passenger side sliding door, and flipped me over onto the drivers side. I then slid a few feet before coming to a stop in front of the mailboxes. The van was totalled. The guy that was behind me (Joe), who was also my witness, helped me get out of the van since I was flipped up on my side. The guy that hit me (also named Joe), admitted to me and the cop, that it was his fault. I had to go to the Hospital the next day for my back. It was hurting me alot, and I could barely stand up. The doctor put me on some medication and sent me home. Joe's insurance is paying for everything since it was his fault. After I got out of the van, Joe said that he wasn't familiar with that area and didn't see the stop sign. Everyone that came to see what happen, saw Joe, and said that was a lie. That he is always up there in the area and always speeding. Unfortuneatly, I was the victim this time. He also told me that if I needed a ride somewhere for anything, to call him up, and he would come down in his other truck and pick me up. I don't think so! :-) |

Me With The Van This is when the tow truck driver towed the van back to the house so that we could get everything out of it before he took it |

| The Side He Hit Me On This is the side Joe hit me on. He hit me on the sliding door |

A closer look at the side he hit me on. It bent the rear axle and everything. The back windows were busted out as well from the impact and flipping |

This is everything that fell on top of me after I flipped (The box wasn't in the van at the time, but that is what we used to get everything out. Everything in the box was in the van) |
